About
As Program Manager at Village Capital, Alyssa works on the Resource program, supporting diverse-led Entrepreneur Support Organizations (ESOs) in organizational capacity building and capital readiness.
She’s particularly passionate about building communities of support for founders who are proximate to the communities they serve through tech solutions. Alyssa joined Village Capital from Growth Warrior Capital, where she launched a one-day Summit connecting over 150 diverse entrepreneurs and investors and supported portfolio founders as Platform & Programming Lead. Before that, she worked with DivInc, a nonprofit tech accelerator program for diverse founders, and SKU, a consumer goods accelerator.
Since 2018, Alyssa has directly supported over 70 founders through accelerators, and 100+ in alumni programming.
Outside of work, Alyssa volunteers with SomosVC, LatinTX, and Latinitas. She spends her free time gardening at home with her partner and their golden retriever, Roswell Spacedog.
